Change of MMS Contractor Receiving Digital Well Log Drilling Records
and Additional Well Log Curves to Submit

This addendum to Notice to Lessees and Operators (NTL) No. 2004-G07, Well Records Submittal, dated April 20, 2004, is issued pursuant to 30 CFR 250.103 and notifies you of a change in the contractor receiving certain well records on behalf of the Minerals Management Service (MMS) and of additional well log curves that need to be submitted..

The MMS has recently contracted with a new Agent to receive, verify and store digital and paper copy wireline and MWD/LWD well log data. Effective June 01, 2004, well records for all wells that TD on or after June 01, 2004 must be sent to A2D Technologies at the following address:

Additional Well Log Data to Submit

In addition to the curves required by NTL 2004 – G07, Part 1 Section A.  Well Log Data, submit final composite log(s) of the following logs or curve types, if you obtained them in the open-hole in a wellbore, sidetrack, or bypass:  

You may compress well log data to fit on one diskette using the PKZIP compression program.  Submit digital data on IBM PC compatible 3.5-inch diskettes, CD ROM, or on 4-mm or 8-mm data cartridges.
