2004 Industry Awards Program and Luncheon
The 2004 Minerals Management Service (MMS) Industry Awards Program and Luncheon are scheduled for Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at the Inter-Continental in Houston, Texas. This is the 21st year that MMS has honored outstanding companies for their exemplary safety and pollution prevention records, and the sixth year for our industry awards program. The following awards will be presented:
n Corporate Leadership Award (CORLA)
Recognizes corporation employees who performed exemplary acts or services that helped MMS meet important mission objectives.
n Safe Operations and Accurate Reporting (SOAR)
Recognizes the OCS operator that demonstrated outstanding safety and pollution prevention performance and timely and accurate mineral revenue reporting.
n Mineral Revenues Stewardship Award
Recognizes companies committed to timely
and accurate filing of mineral lease revenue and production reports with MMSs
Minerals Revenue Management Program.

Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE)
The SAFE Program recognizes OCS oil and
gas facility operators and contractors for outstanding safety and pollution prevention
performance. The SAFE Award categories are as follows:
· High Activity Operator
· Moderate Activity Operator
· Drilling Contractor
·
Production Contractor
